Spent Presidents Day outdoors, taking a short hike with my family at The Rogers Conservation Center in Sherburne, NY.  Not too much snow left, but there is still some so we could see a few tracks from some of the other inhabitants of the center.  As always, we enjoyed wandering around the trails in the woods.  It was very quiet without many other people around.
The Rogers Center used to be run by the NY State DEC.  Due to NY State budget cuts, the facility is now run, and funded by a non profit organization and volunteers. Friends of Rogers now staffs the facility, and puts on programs for the the public.  Check out the link to their page on Facebook, and see when they are having their next programs.  Or just stop by and hike the trails to get outdoors!
