I went out driving today looking for something old, rusty, and abandoned.  The Photochallenge.org theme this week (week 10) is black and white.  This is a good time of year for Monochrome photos in the Northeastern US.  The snow is leaving, but the trees don’t have any color yet.  And today was a really good monochrome day.  Grey skies, snow flurries. Really not much color to be found.  One thing I like about this time of year, is that you can take photos of old barns, and old farm equipment that you can’t see during the summer after it gets covered up by vegetation.
